Dr. Samantha Annunziata (she/her), DVM, USDA accredited, Fear Free certified

Originally from Saratoga County, New York, Dr. Samantha Annunziata earned her BS in Biological Sciences with an Animal Physiology concentration at Cornell University. She later headed to Ithaca where she worked at a rural small animal clinic as a veterinary assistant, before completing her DVM degree at Cornell.

After veterinary school, Samantha and her (now) husband moved to Rochester, NY where she worked at a busy multi-doctor practice in the suburbs. During these years, she handled a multitude of oral and soft tissue surgery cases, and gained extensive experience treating patients with allergies. She and her family later moved to NYC, where she currently resides.

Samantha's favorite aspects of general practice are dermatology and dentistry. Outside of work, Samantha loves to run, hike, and practice yoga. She and her husband Mike are also the proud parents of two daughters and one senior miniature poodle mix named Willy. Samantha is passionate about limiting pets' fear, anxiety, and stress associated with veterinary visits, and believes that preventive medicine and owner education are the keys to ensuring the longest and happiest lives possible for her patients.
